A very successful Car Boot Sale Fundraiser!!

Our Car Boot Sale fundraiser was held on Sat 11th June. As always our fantastic school community got behind us and there were huge amounts of items donated which were used to sell at the sale. We had a bake sale on the day and there were lots of yummy treats to purchase. Our parent reps also did a kids prizes table where the children could play and win.

There was a huge amount of support from our parents who attended on the day and also the local community.

The fundraiser was a great success and we raised much needed funds for the school. The final figure will follow after all raffle cards are returned.

Raffle cards for our upcoming fundraiser raffle were all due back on Thurs 16th June and our raffle will be held at the school on Monday 20th June.

A massive thank you to our parent reps (Kim, Cleo, Audrey and Cheryl) who organized the fundraiser and were there on Saturday ensuring that the day was a successful one. There was a lot of work involved in the run up to it, in organising and sorting the items, visiting businesses and using their charm to get some fantastic prizes and donations, and in getting all the items to Jack Whites on the day. We realise the time that was sacrificed for all of this, both during the week and at the weekend, and we really appreciate it. Parents giving their time and energy like this, shows what fantastic community spirit there is in the school and we would not be able to ensure the school keeps thriving and the pupils have all of the lovely resources and amenities they need without it.

Thank you to all the parents who have donated items for the sale, given in a raffle prize or baked for the cake sale.

Sponsored Cycle - Thurs 24th Oct 2019

We had our first sponsored cycle on Thursday 24th Oct 2019. The skies were clear and the sun was shining to ensure that a great days cycling was had by all. Lots of brilliant parents came to help out on the day some cycled with the children, some parents, including our Parents Rep drove in front and behind to make sure the pupils and parents were safe, others helped the younger pupils navigate their way around Cullen Park and to and from the school, and other Parents Reps organised the very welcome refreshments at the end of the cycle. The boys and girls had a fantastic day both on the 7k route and in Cullen Pk and they were very proud of their achievement. It is a testament to the effort they have put in during the Cycle Right Programme and shows that we truly are and active school!! Thanks to all that sponsored the pupils and helped out on the day. Thanks to Claire Jenkinson who organised the Wicklow People to come and photograph the day and also sent in photos to the Wicklow Times. An amazing grand total of 1505.55 euro was raised in total. Well done all!!!

Scoil San Eoin - Annual Halloween Fundraiser Monday 29th October 2018

The parents Reps, parent volunteers and the Board of Management are working really hard to ensure that this years fundraiser is a huge success. The much needed funds raised will be used for necessary resources in the school, and to ensure that the school building is maintained to a good standard.

This years event promises to be a great night. We have a spooky Halloween walk, followed by a disco and some brilliant raffle prizes.

We are encouraging all children and their parents to dress up on the night. A family concession ticket will be issued on Thurs 25th Oct prior to the event which entitles all pupils to enter with their family free of charge.

The fundraiser is open to all families outside of the school so feel free to invite all your friends and family to join us. There will be a very reasonable €5.00 entry for families outside of the school.

Please remind all children to get busy filling their Fundraising Cards as prizes will also be available for each class group.

Cards are not due to be returned to school until after the midterm break on Weds 07th Nov to give everyone the opportunity to raise as much as they can.

Cash for Clothes - A Great Success!

The Cash for Clothes Collection has been taken and the total has come to an amazing 400 euro! A huge thank you to the ladies, Cleo, Geraldine, Martina, Helen and Sandra, who organised it and braved the elements (while having a little fun!) to help sort and carry the bags of clothes. In total 118 bags were collected, with 5 rejected.  This was a fantastic fundraiser for the school and thank you to everyone who donated. 

Cash for Clothes - Final Call!!

The cash for clothes drive is finishing on Thurs 30th 10am. All bags will be collected between 10am and 11am and any bags dropped after this time will not be accepted. A huge thank you to all who have donated clothes so far.
